This week has been a nice one in that Dawne stepped in with my 4th graders to proctor a placement test for a new program that I am excited about and we have Fall Festival on the horizon- which means students are on time and a little more attentive:)
Once this week is over I am on a plane to Newtok as a chaperone for a NYO event. 16 kids ( both jr, high/high school) and lots of events = one crazy 24 hour trip.
But that means I am able to visit a good friend over that 24 hour period of time and visit a village that I have never been to before:)
Let's hope for safe travels and good behaviors- and thank goodness for a MONDAY SITE INSERVICE day- b/c these events make my weekends seem even shorter!
